Privacy Policy
Georgia Fence Rules is a free informational tool. We try to collect as little as possible, and we don't sell your data. This page explains, in plain English, what happens when you use the site.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. It is cookieless and aggregate — it does not set advertising cookies, build a profile of you, or track you across other websites.
Address lookups
When you look up an address, it is sent to mapping and geocoding services — the U.S. Census Bureau (primary) and, as a fallback, Google Maps — to identify the city, county, and any historic district for your location. We do not save the addresses you look up, attach them to your identity, or use them for marketing.
Spam protection
To keep the lookup tool available and prevent abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile (a privacy-friendly bot check) and apply rate limits based on your IP address. Your IP is used for this security purpose and is not used to advertise to you.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your personal information, we don't run third-party ad networks on this site, and we don't require an account to use it.
Third-party services
The site is hosted on Vercel and uses the services named above (Vercel Analytics, Cloudflare Turnstile, U.S. Census and Google Maps geocoding). Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.
